Welcome to Zazim AI (the “App”), developed and operated by ZazimFind (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share your personal information when you use our mobile application and related services.

By using Zazim AI, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of data to provide and improve our services:

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

• Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, name, and a unique user ID via Firebase Authentication. If you sign in with Google, Apple, or another provider, we receive the identifier and email associated with that account.
• AI Interactions: Any text, prompts, images, or files you submit to the AI features are processed to generate responses. We store this content temporarily to provide the service and may retain anonymised logs to improve model performance.
• Communication: If you contact support or request account deletion, we collect your email address and any information you include in the message.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device & Usage Data: We collect device type, operating system, app version, IP address, and mobile network information. This helps us diagnose issues and understand usage patterns.
• App Activity: Features used, screens visited, interaction durations, and error logs are recorded via Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics.
• Advertising Identifiers: If you use the free version of the App, we may collect your device’s advertising ID (IDFA/AAID) for ad delivery and measurement, subject to your device permissions.

2.3 Information from Third Parties

We use Firebase services (Google LLC) to authenticate users, store data, and analyse app performance. Firebase may collect certain data as governed by its own Google Privacy Policy.

3. How We Use Your Information

1. Provide the AI Service: Processing your inputs to generate relevant responses and maintain conversation history.
2. Account Management: Creating and maintaining your account, verifying sign‑in methods, and preventing unauthorised access.
3. Analytics & Improvement: Understanding how the App is used, which features are popular, and where crashes occur so we can make Zazim AI better.
4. Advertising: Displaying ads (if applicable) via networks like Google AdMob, using your advertising identifier to serve relevant advertisements.
5. Legal Compliance: Enforcing our terms, complying with applicable laws, and responding to lawful requests from authorities.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We only share data as described below:

• Service Providers: Third parties that help us operate the App (e.g., Google Firebase for hosting/auth/analytics, OpenAI or other AI providers if used). These providers are bound by contract and may only use data to perform requested services.
• Advertising Partners: If you use the free version, ad networks like Google AdMob may receive your device’s advertising identifier to deliver and measure ads. You can reset or limit ad tracking in your device settings.
• Legal & Safety Reasons: If required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ZazimFind, our users, or the public.
• Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of the transaction, with prior notice.

5. Data Retention

We keep your personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined here:

• Account Data: Retained until you delete your account or request deletion. After deletion, your account info (email, UID) is permanently removed within 30 days.
• AI Conversation Content: Stored for a limited period (up to 90 days) to maintain functionality and improve the AI, after which it is anonymised or deleted.
• Analytics & Crash Logs: Retained for up to 26 months in Firebase, then automatically deleted.
• Billing Records: If you make in‑app purchases, transaction records are kept as required by tax and accounting laws (usually 7 years).

When you request account deletion, we delete or anonymise all associated personal data except where retention is required by law.

6. Your Rights & Choices

You have control over your data. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access / Portability: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Update or correct inaccurate information.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Objection / Restriction: Object to certain processing or restrict how your data is used.

Account Deletion Instructions

To delete your Zazim AI account and all related data, visit our Account Deletion Page. Alternatively, email support@zazimfind.com from the email address registered to your account with the subject “Account Deletion Request”.

We will process your request within 7 days and send a confirmation once the deletion is complete.

7. Children's Privacy

Zazim AI is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will delete it immediately. If you believe we might have any information from or about a child, please contact us at privacy@zazimfind.com.

8. Third-Party Services

The App uses AI models and cloud infrastructure provided by third parties (e.g., OpenAI, Google Cloud). These services may process your AI prompts and responses according to their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review the policies of:

9. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures (encryption in transit and at rest, access controls) to protect your data. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

10. International Data Transfers

Your data may be stored and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using Zazim AI, you consent to this transfer. We rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards for cross-border data transfers.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective Date” above and may notify you through the App or via email. Your continued use after changes become effective indicates your acceptance.
